Fabian the Tuxedo cat

I am truly adorable,” says “Fabian,” this black and white “tuxedo” cat who looks like he is ready to be a member of a wedding. At least he’s dressed for it with his snazzy black fur coat and white chest.
Darling Fabian was brought into the Bonaire Animal Shelter along with his brother, “Fred,” because the people just couldn’t take care of any more cats. So it’s lucky for someone that Fabian and Fred are both available for adoption. The two brothers are a little more than five months old. They’re healthy as can be, having been examined by the vet and given their shots and worming. They’ll be sterilized as soon as they’re old enough. Both cats are playful and full of fun.
You may see them at the Shelter on the Lagun Road, open Monday through Saturday, 9am to 1pm and 3 to 5pm. Telephone 717-4989.

Adorable puppy Kevin

“You would never know it to look at him now but this adorable puppy, “Kevin,” was living on the street with his two siblings. A Good Samaritan saw a ch?ller (drug addict) trying to capture Kevin and his brothers so he could sell them. The Samaritan was able to rescue the puppies and brought them into the Shelter. One of the pups has already been adopted.
Kevin is not only a darling fuzzy boy but he’s got this incredible curling tail. The vet believes he was born around mid-June. A pup like Kevin won’t last long as a potential adoptee at the Bonaire Animal Shelter. As are all the other animals up for adoption Kevin has been examined by the vet, given his tests and worming and shots and will be sterilized when he’s old enough. The NAƒ 105 adoption fee covers all this, and you get a healthy and very sociable pet.
You may see Kevin at the Shelter on the Lagoen Road, open Monday through Saturday, 9 am to 1 pm and 3 to 5 pm.
Don’t forget that the Shelter offers very comfortable accommodations for dogs if you need a place for your pet to stay while you are away from the island. The facilities have been recently expanded so that the “guests” have a large run as well as spacious kennels that provide both shade and openness.
