Will you be the new friendly face at Pakus di Pruga? Every Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Pakus di Pruga is the place for secondhand treasures on Bonaire. Visitors browse through donated furniture, clothing, household item and books. Every purchase helps the dogs and cats at the shelter.

What will you do?

• Help set up tents and put items on display
• Assisting with picking up donations 
• Dismantle tents and store items in the containers at end of the day
• Welcome visitors and assist them with their purchases
• Receive donations and give them a place in the shop
• Help to create an attractive and well-organized presentation of the items
• Work together with other volunteers to ensure the market runs smoothly

What do we expect from you?

• You are hands-on and see what needs to be done
• You are friendly and enjoy meeting and helping people
• You like being active and contributing to a good cause
• You are available on some Saturdays half days or full days
• You are reliable and keep to your commitments
